Upppppdate AND BEEEYYYOONNDDD!!

Hey guys!

So as for Rainbow Six Vegas 2?  I wouldn’t waste your time on it.  A lot of things were better, a lot more far too much worse.

The coop campaign is set throughout the story, and player one takes control of two other AI controlled helpers, who get in the way more than they help.  As my friend was trying to get our teammates to do the actions that we had requested, I, more and more, went astray finding my own places to go and enemies to deal with.

Let’s just say that I returned this game to GameStop in 4 days.  3 days short of the 7 day return period.

What did I pick up?  Left 4 Dead.  How does it compare?  I wouldn’t return it for the world, although I might want to renew my Gold membership for 360.

What else did I have?  Assassin’s Creed.  Which is both extremely fun, with a compelling story, and boring at times.  After the fighting system has been conquered, you’re basically invincible to anyone.  The tougher opponents, The Templars, still fair a decent fight on ground, but get them on a building and a simple push or grab will have them tumbling to their demise.

More on it once I beat it though.

Back to Left 4 Dead.  It’s an extremely fun multiplayer game, online, and splitscreen.  Though I wouldn’t recommend it for a single player experience, as teaming up with other individuals really puts you in the thought of a Zombie Apocalypse.

As for whether or not it’s a Buy or Rent game, it depends on your personality.  Do you like more story based content?  Then rent it and have a go at the shooter to see how it fairs.

I, myself, am very imaginative, finding my own story and backstory to each character as I play them.  I felt more at home with Louis, being the IT guy who doesn’t enjoy his job much, it hit closer to home for me than the other characters.  Especially Zoey, mostly because I have a penis.

Upcoming soon I’ll have more reviews, and more information about the forthmentioned games, especially Assassin’s Creed.  And a prequel to the upcoming sequels to AC and L4D.

Not to mention some PC additions, as we tackle Half-Life: Episode Two (Which I FINALLY got my hands on, and am currently loving). Spore, which is a fantastic AND addicting challenge.  And perhaps a full review of Mirror’s Edge, depending on how my PC feels that day.

As we progress, and I continue to search for the money for a PC upgrade, we will definitely be having more reviews over PC instead of just the 360.  And look for some Wii updates in the future, if we ever pull it out of storage (yeeeahhh, we just haven’t felt too compelled to play it.  I know, I know, we like coop games, WTF aren’t we playing the Wii?  Well, Wii will see.)

And yes…  That pun WAS intended!  Did you like it?

Yeah me neither.

I would give Assassin’s Creed a rental rating, but only if you can beat a game in 5 days (unless you use GameFly, of course).  And Left 4 Dead, like I said, depends on the person.  I won’t give it up.  But then again, I won’t give up anything Valve related.

Alyx Vance, when robot AI advances, I’ll make you my bride.

Ha, just kidding, I’m not that pathetic.

I am…
